The Email Verification Module allows freelancers and employers to verify their email addresses after registration.
This helps improve platform security, prevents fake registrations, and ensures users are using valid email accounts.
To manage this module, navigate to Gigneo → Modules.
Once enabled, email verification becomes active for marketplace registrations.
Registration Verification Process
When a freelancer or employer registers on the platform, a verification email is automatically sent to their registered email address.
Users must open the email and click the verification link to verify their account.
This helps confirm account ownership before using marketplace features.
Resend Verification Email
If the user does not receive the verification email, they can resend it directly from their dashboard.
Navigate to Dashboard → Security.
From there, users can request a new verification email.
Admin Email Verification
Marketplace administrators also have the ability to manually verify user email accounts from the WordPress admin dashboard.
Navigate to WP Admin → Freelancers / Employers.
From the user management page, administrators can manually mark accounts as verified if needed.
This is useful for manual onboarding or support-related situations.
Email Templates
Gigneo uses the WooCommerce email system for all marketplace email notifications, including verification emails.
Marketplace owners can customize email templates, styling, sender information, and notification settings using WooCommerce email configuration options.
